K-12 School Menus
With the help of our registered dietitian, all of our menus are based on the uniqueness of our school partners, always focusing on the students. We use quality ingredients from local vendors to create menus that are kid-friendly, NSLP, and USDA compliant, and tasty! We offer seasonal fruits and vegetables and incorporate USDA commodities where possible. DRFS is a pork-free company. In addition, we have expert consulting assistance regarding school administration of USDA School Nutrition Programs and compliance to government program requirements, as well as school food service operations and management activities.
Special Events
Bulk food and ala carte items (salads, sandwiches, etc.) and catering services for meetings, parties, banquets, and other special events are available. From a simple snack to a gourmet meal, we deliver high-quality, wide variety, and cost-conscious menus and services. Our staff have many years of experience catering large-scale banquets to small intimate gatherings. We can help you put together a stress-free event for your friends, families, and colleagues. Other Nutritional Programs
DRF provides catering services for child care centers, after school programs, summer programs, and residential children’s sites. Breakfast, lunch, supper, and snacks are provided in accordance with USDA Child Nutrition Programs and the appropriate meal pattern requirements. The same meal choices as our PreK – 12 School Nutrition Programs are available, as well as our DRF Healthy Menu Guidelines. We also bring to the table our experience providing nutrition education sessions and expert consulting assistance regarding administration of USDA Child Nutrition Programs and compliance to government program requirements, food service operations, and management activities.
